Stroke imaging is foundational to the diagnosis and management of patients with neurological disorders, especially in the acute stroke setting. This webinar explores different imaging modalities and explains the who, what, where, when, and why behind essential imaging such as non contrast head CT, CT angiogram, CT perfusion, and MRI.

After this webinar, the participant will be able to:

  • Explain which imaging modality to choose in different clinical settings
  • Identify normal findings on brain imaging
  • Describe common abnormal diagnostic findings on brain imaging

About the Presenter

Dr. Alicia Bennett completed her residency and vascular fellowship at the University of Utah and subsequently joined CarePoint Blue Sky Neurosciences (CPN) in 2016. In our Denver-based boots-on-the-ground practice, she serves as a stroke medical director at two hospitals and as the vascular fellowship program director for CPN’s neurology residency program. Dr. Bennett is also a regional medical director for CPN’s telestroke program. Dr. Bennett is passionate about creating efficiencies within telestroke systems of care.
