Repeat Recognition: CarePoint Emergency Medicine Physician Jamie Linker Honored as Top Doctor for Second Year in a Row

CarePoint emergency medicine physician Jamie Linker, MD, MBE, has once again been named a Top Doctor by 5280 Magazine and Castle Connolly. Dr. Linker was also recognized as a 2024 Top Doctor.

Only a few hundred of Colorado’s approximately 30,000 licensed physicians receive Top Doctor honors each year. Less than 3% of the nearly 1,900 physicians who practice emergency medicine in the state were recognized in 2025. In being named a Top Doctor two years in a row, Dr. Linker joins an even more select group of physicians.

5280 and Castle Connolly, a New York-based healthcare research and information company, partner annually to create a list of the top physicians in the country. The digital nomination process allows licensed doctors nationwide to recommend candidates in any medical specialty in any part of the country for the honor. Castle Connolly’s physician-led research team then thoroughly vets each nominated doctor’s professional qualifications, education, hospital and faculty appointments, research leadership, professional reputation, disciplinary history, and, if available, outcomes data. Also considered in the review process are the physician’s interpersonal skills, such as listening and communicating effectively, demonstrating empathy, and instilling trust and confidence.

Dr. Linker joined CarePoint in July 2017 after completing her emergency residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She’s a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. While at Penn, she also completed a Master of Bioethics degree. Before attending medical school, Dr. Linker attended Cornell University in New York, where she graduated with distinction in all subjects.

Named a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians in 2020, Dr. Linker practices primarily at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge (Lone Tree, CO); HCA HealthONE South Parker ER, A part of Sky Ridge (Parker, CO); and HCA HealthONE Southwest ER, A part of Swedish (Littleton, CO). At Sky Ridge, she also supervises the off-service residents who do rotations there.
