7 Hospitals Staffed by CarePoint Health and Blue Sky Neurology Clinicians Receive 5-Star Rating from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
August 09, 2024
Seven hospitals in which CarePoint Health and Blue Sky Neurology clinicians practice have received a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), a testament to the high-quality care provided at these facilities.
Each year, CMS assigns star ratings to U.S. hospitals based on 46 hospital quality measures, which are divided into five quality categories: mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience, and timely and effective care.
Only 8.2% of hospitals nationwide received a 5-star rating from CMS in 2024.
The seven CarePoint- and Blue Sky-staffed hospitals to receive 5 stars are listed below. The type(s) of care provided by CarePoint and Blue Sky clinicians at these facilities is indicated in parentheses.
Colorado:
- Swedish Medical Center (Emergency Medicine, Neurocritical Care, Neurohospitalist, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)
- Sky Ridge Medical Center (Emergency Medicine, Neurohospitalist, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)
Utah:
- Lakeview Hospital (Emergency Medicine)
- Lone Peak Hospital (Emergency Medicine)
Kansas:
- Wesley Medical Center (Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine)
Idaho:

The CMS recognition comes on the heels of CarePoint clinicians’ winning of nearly two dozen American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) E-QUAL awards for their outstanding achievements in treating opioid and alcohol use disorder (OUD and AUD).
We’re incredibly proud of and thankful for all our clinicians at these facilities and the life-changing work they do every day.
