Chuck Livsey, M.D., Ph.D.

Beverly Gilder, M.D.

Dr. Livsey grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he obtained both his MD and PhD degrees. The latter was awarded through the Department of Pharmacology, with research in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. Dr. Livsey completed an internship at Georgetown University Hospital, and also began his neurology residency there. He completed his neurology residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Livsey worked as an Associate Research Scientist at the Yale University School of Medicine, and eventually went on to complete his epilepsy fellowship locally at the University of Colorado, Denver. He has been the Director at the CNI Epilepsy Center at Swedish Medical Center since 2012, as well as an Epileptologist. He has contributed to numerous publications and abstracts throughout his career, as well as a book chapter in Excitatory Amino Acids. Dr. Livsey is board certified in both Neurology and Epilepsy. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family at the baseball field and in the mountains.
