CarePoint Blue Sky Neurosciences is an innovative practice that provides the full spectrum of neurologic services. We are seeking an Inpatient Neurology Advanced Practice Provider to deliver exceptional clinical care, working alongside and collaborating with Neuro Hospitalists in the San Antonio Metro area. Founded in 2005, Blue Sky Neurosciences is a division of CarePoint, a physician-owned and physician-run multispecialty group that employs hundreds of providers.

Advanced Practice Provider Position Details

• Schedule: The schedule encompasses a 7-on / 7-off rotation from 7am to 5pm. There are currently no on-call duties.
• Setting: The role involves providing exceptional clinical care in the hospital setting.
• Qualifications: Candidates require a Master’s degree and graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. You must have a current state license in good standing, prescriptive authority, a DEA number (or ability to obtain), and current BLS.
• Experience: General APP experience is preferred. Previous neurology experience and an Acute Care Certification are a plus.

Compensation & Program Highlights

• Salary: The salary range for this position is $100k-$130k.
• Benefits: CarePoint offers voluntary benefits including $1500/year for CME and paid parental leave. The package features health, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance. Short-term disability, long-term disability, retirement plans, and an Employee Assistance Program are additionally provided.
• Metro Facility Network: Providers have the potential to work at 5 facilities: Methodist Medical Center, Stone Oak, Metropolitan, Northeast, and Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills. You will mostly cover one site on a 7-day schedule, though working at other hospitals on the same day is possible as patient census dictates.
• Onboarding: Training includes shadowing the hospitals, physicians, and current APPs. Time spent shadowing for EMRs depends on your previous experience.
