Volume Expectations

• In 2024, total stroke volume was 490 cases:
  • > Ischemic strokes: 318
  • > Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIA): 119
  • > Subarachnoid Hemorrhages (SAH): 8
  • > Intracerebral Hemorrhages (ICH): 42
• Stroke transfers from outside hospitals: 160
• Annual endovascular therapy cases: 24
• While we do not have a dedicated Neuro ICU, EIRMC has 23 ICU beds to support neurocritical care patients.
