Kristen Demaria is originally from Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. She graduated from Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. At Humboldt State she played both collegiate soccer and rugby. She and her husband, Ben, then moved to Denver, CO. She attended the Denver College of Nursing, where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors, and received the “Making a Difference Award.” She began her nursing career working in the Intensive Care Unit at the Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, CO, she ended her nursing career at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO, and she specialized in both cardiac and thoracic surgery and neuro-trauma. She went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys traveling to all places far and near, spending time with her family, cooking, eating fancy foods, and she is an avid crossfitter.
