Alyssa Pollman grew up in Meridian, Mississippi, leaving the state only to attend the University of Georgia for her first undergraduate degree. She returned to graduate from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with honors on her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2003. Upon graduation, she stayed at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and worked as a CVICU/NSICU RN. In 2006, she acted as an ICU nurse in both Brandon, Mississippi, and Wailuku, Hawaii. By 2008, Alyssa was in Tacoma, Washington as a CVICU nurse. That was the same year she began working at Swedish Medical Center as an ICU nurse, before relocating to Anchorage, Alaska to fill the same role. During this time, Alyssa continued on to attend Graceland University in Kansas City, Missouri for her Masters of Science in Nursing, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA. She returned to Denver a few years ago, where she worked at Rose Medical Center as an ICU nurse, before joining Blue Sky Neurology in 2014. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys art, as well as outdoor activities such as running, hiking, camping, skiing, and yoga.
