Oliver Jeffery, MB.ChB., FRACP.

Hailing from New Zealand, Dr Oliver Jeffery earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, followed by his medical degree at University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. He completed his neurology residency training, principally in Wellington, New Zealand, as part of the Royal Australasian College of Physician (RACP) physician training program. He was awarded the Australian and New Zealand Neurology Association one-year fellowship to train in Advanced Clinical Neurology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, after which he earned two further fellowships in Clinical Neurophysiology/Electroencephalography (EEG) and Epilepsy at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN.

After returning to New Zealand and working as a Consultant Neurologist, Dr Jeffery moved with his family to Casper, Wyoming to work in epilepsy and general neurology, both in clinic and acute hospital settings. Here he expanded his clinical epilepsy/EEG specialty and general clinical experience through management of a wide variety of complex neurological problems. Dr Jeffery was an integral member of the Wyoming Epilepsy Center and Wyoming Stroke Center.

Now in Denver, Dr Jeffery sees patients at Blue Sky Neurology’s Swedish Medical Center campus, in the outpatient clinic and as part of the inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit / Surgical Epilepsy program. He is passionate about clinical neurology and the translation of evidence based medicine and “bench” science to practice. He is motivated to improve the lives of those living with epilepsy and other neurological disorders, drawing on a wide breadth of medical experience to work with you to optimize brain health.
